INTRODUCTION

Subject of gastroenterology are problems of the gastrointestinal tract and the digestive system. This area of specialism also focuses on symptoms of the pancreas, gall bladder and liver.

We treat children and teenagers who suffer from indigestion, vomiting, diarrhea, frequent or painful bowel movement as well as stomach pains, constipation flatulence and sickness.

Change of diet by following a special diet plan, is a central component of this treatment.

After this, height and weight development in the adolescent will be regularly checked – success of treatment will be documented via blood test results.

Medication can also be helpful. This, for example, includes medication used for the stomach and esophagus in order to support the pancreas or the liver.
